Are you looking for reading practice for your kids for the summer?
If you are a brick and mortar teacher you might want to recommend summer reading for your students.
Or if you are a parent/homeschool parent you might be looking for some reading for your student for the summer.
Here is an option you might want to consider.
My reading comprehension stories in my TPT store are all short stories in either science or history topics. These stories also include 5 comprehension questions about the story to help the student review what they just read.
There is one more thing included in each of these stories, a writing prompt about the topic in the story. These are great to help your students with practicing their writing.
